Riot

Bibliotheque sound system

The Bibliotheque boys are back with another stonking mix 'Discolypso.' More pics to come of the artwork when we get it printed up. Ready to take over the Masque with a new night 'Deleted Scenes' as well as a night in Bad Format! and ther usual Peacock residencies, next month is gonna be a busy one for them. 

Blue socks

I never wear blue socks, in fact I dont even think they're mine. Theyre usually under the table so I dont see them. I once had 2 bottles of wine under this desk. I dont anymore.

Watching tv

I have already seen Rock'n'Rolla before, no one else has. We are watching it again. I think im enjoying it better this time round. The zip has opened from the bottom upwards on my shorts, that could pose problems.

Relished every minute of designing this tour poster for such an amazing band!! Kept to a similar style of their album covers, like a dark landscape with a sinister side to it. This tour poster is one of many I shall be doing in conjunction with Barfly. 

On another note, I hope to start to screen printing my posters in the near future. Really looking forward to getting stuck into that, lots of hard work but the finish product is always worth it.

...burnt his toast again this morning. he is good at that. He only burnt it on one side, but I suppose thats enough. He then stuck his finger through it. 

little is drawing

Having a day arguing with printers who say they will deliver by wednesday at the very latest and its now thursday and wednesday has mysteriously turned into next monday, lets just say im less than impressed. So i thought i'd enlighten the day with something i like to shadow the evil printers and make my day brighter! This is an illustration by 'little is drawing.' Shes great. Nice simple quirky illustrations that make me smile. And shes very cute in that kinda i live the whole way away in spain way.

Blood and um, Thunder

Blood and Thunder is the name of my new online shop where you can buy some limited runs of prints of my work. At the minute they feature mainly illustration pieces but I hope to extend this in the coming weeks. I also will be releasing a line of t-shirts which will also have a limited run of 50 per design, keep an eye out for these.

Holgaroid and my polariod adventures

This is a Holgaroid, this could be the perfect camera mutated into one, a Polariod and a (can u guess?) Holga. I have been obsessed with Polaroid for years! I had collected about 20 films just over a year ago(dec 07) and brought them on holiday with me to Poland to finally use them rather than hoarding them. The first night out and a few too many Polish vodkas later, I dropped my camera and it came to an untimely death! I had used one film. I nearly cried as cameras, holidays and moi dont have the best history. I decided to go out the next day and buy a new camera as i had nearly 190 pictures left to take. Poland doesnt sell polaroid camera, nor do they have a clue what one is! I came home with 19 polariod films. In the January I went to Madrid to stay with some friends for a week. Again i brought the 19 films this time but i was in a rush when goin to  the airport and i didnt get a chance to buy a new camera. I know of at least 2 photographers in Spain who use Polaroid in their work quite a bit so i though finding a new camera would be quite easy. No! no its not. I searched and searched. I asked people and they would send me miles up this road because there def is a shop that sells them, there never was! I spent most of my holiday obsessing over getting this camera! I think it was the second last day and i was in a bad mood as i had been given another false lead(i sound like i was looking for my kidnapped daughter or something! i am this petty sometimes!). i was waiting on my mate katie, refusing to go into the shop she wanted to have a look in and sat on the pavement in protest! She came out of the shop and was like YES u found one! i hadnt a clue what she was on about! i looked in the window of the shop i randomly sat against and what was in the window!!! I think i managed to take nearly 190 pics that night in excitement! Finally Polaroid and me could be happy!

Poster for a new jazz night at the legendary Parr st studios where acts such as Bjork, Coldplay, Diana Ross, Moby and many more have recorded, which has been turned into a pretty sweet bar. If we cant have a smoky room for the jazz anymore, we can definitely have a smoke stained flyer!

Soft Toy Emergency

Went to the single launch gig last night as I had done their single cover and t-shirts and it was bouncing! I think they have a bright future ahead of them. Song that get stuck in ur head whether you like it or not. The kids were going for it all night. Artwork pics to follow...
